Cardi B needs to seriously deal with her strip club court case before she finds herself behind bars, TMZ reports. The "Money" rapper had a hearing Monday and the only people present on her behalf was her lawyers, leaving prosecutors frustrated and asking the judge to issue a bench warrant. The warrant was denied by the judge, but considering Cardi has already received a six-week extension on the case the judge warned her team that if she is not in court on Friday, a warrant for her arrest will be issued.
TMZ also details how Cardi's defense team has had a hard time getting in contact with the rapper and has only been exchanging with her management team. It was only found out this past Thursday that Cardi would not be present in court today, leaving all parties seemingly annoyed.
As we've previously posted, Cardi had been charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment and assault stemming from a New York City strip club brawl on August 29th.
"CardiB ordered and committed violent assaults against my clients, and is being called to justice for her crimes," Joe Tacopina, the two victims lawyer stated. "Apparently, she thinks her celebrity status puts her above the law, since she has bragged to multiple people and on social media that she orchestrated these vicious attacks. But reality is setting in, as justice does not care whether her name is Cardi B or Carly B, and she will now answer for her crimes."
As for her Sunday activities, Cardi was on a plane eating crab, seriously, check it out below.
