Cardi B is all smiles on The Breakfast Club, talking Offset, Nicki Minaj & more.

Cardi B has been putting in work, and her breakout single "Bodak Yellow" is sitting comfortably as the number-two most popular song on Billboard's "Hot 100," eyeing that number one spot. While beating Taylor Swift is no easy feat, it would be a fitting chapter of Cardi's success story. Clearly, Cardi is feeling on top of the world. Throughout the course of her Breakfast Club interview, she's laughing, dropping jokes, and channeling a fifties-era gangster.

There's an interesting part when Angela asks Cardi if she feels competitive around her boyfriend Offset, using being nominated for the same BET award as an example. "I think he would want me to win, to be honest with you," says Cardi, clearly enamored with the Migos rapper. When Charlamagne comments that she's "in love," Cardi responds with "why you gotta use the L word for?" The hosts don't relent, but Cardi won't budge. "You know I'm too gangsta to use those types of words, you know what I'm sayin'" says Cardi. Still, Offset and Cardi seem to be doing pretty well, and it would be cool to see that chemistry translate into some fire in the booth. Luckily, Cardi has been confirmed as a guest on Migos' Culture 2, so there's that to look forward to.

Envy eventually asks about Nicki Minaj, and Cardi's demeanor notably changes. "We just conversated man," says Cardi. "And that's it." She proceeds to try to change topics. However, Charlamagne isn't having it, and continues to press her about some questionable lines. Cardi replies with "people don't understand though, that I got like beef with like ten bitches in the hood, and I still be in the hood."

It's an interesting interview, and if you like Cardi B, you should definitely check it out. Stay tuned for more news about her upcoming album, which was recently pushed back from an initial October release.
