Cardi B has been spending hours this week getting her tattoos touched up. She endured tons of pain and now, she's ready to show off the end result of her new work.
After debuting a gigantic new back tattoo, Cardi B got one of her stand-out pieces touched up for the first time in ten years, flaunting her new peacock tattoo.
"So after ten years I gave my peacock tattoo a makeover," she wrote on Instagram. "This whole week I been takin hours of pain getting tatted. Thank you @jamie_schene."
The before-and-after comparison is pretty crazy to see. The new piece is much more vibrant than it was before, with strong colors and additions here and there. The rap superstar has new flowers, a butterfly, and more detailed feathers on her leg.
The artist has been perfecting her tattoos for the last several weeks, seemingly enduring days filled with needles and blood to achieve her ideal form. The renewed peacock piece follows up the addition of her new back piece, which is also of flowers running down to her thigh.
Cardi B has been teasing her sophomore studio album for months. She was rumored to be re-negotiating the terms of her contract with Atlantic Records but an executive for them claims that she is receiving the best treatment possible, denying that her album was delayed as a result of a disagreement.
