Cardi B has had an outstanding year. At the top of 2018, we were unsure how she would stick but at that point, she hadn't dropped her debut album yet. With Invasion of Privacy now months old, the artist has grown to superstar level. Everything she does makes headlines and now, she's celebrating something seriously impressive. According to Chart Data, every song on her debut album has now been certified Gold or higher by the RIAA.
Bardi announced the good news on Instagram with a screenshot, noting that while she's stoked about the accomplishment, it gives her some stress to perform well with her next project. With the certifications, the rapper is making history as the first female artist to have every track on an album recognized by the RIAA. That's pretty outstanding.
She wrote, "Im happy my album is amazing but I got sooo much pressure and anxiety cause I know I gotta kill it with my second one." You know what they say... pressure makes diamonds. Cardi is guaranteed to have people tuning in for her next body of work. She hasn't determined when she plans to release her sophomore album but fans are patiently waiting for new material. "Money" is out but her supporters want more. She's already started teasing some new vibes too, previewing a track on Instagram the other day.
