Cardi B hopped on Twitter and defended her decision to name drop Offset so much in her new single "Bartier Cardi."

After months of teasing & anticipation, Cardi B’s highly anticipated follow up single to “Bodak Yellow” surfaced online last night called “Bartier Cardi.” The song has received high praise from fans & industry heads alike, validating that Cardi is definitely not a one-hit wonder & here to stay.

However, the one thing that fans have been pointing out is Cardi’s constant name-dropping of her fiancee Offset, which she's done in the past. In fact, Cardi says “Offset’s” name a total of 16 times throughout the song, referencing him 4 times per chorus. But despite people pointing it out, Cardi doesn’t give a shit what people think.

On Friday night, Cardi took to Twitter to express why she mentions Offset’s name so much, and it’s because she’s in love. She even jokes that her last word's before she dies will probably be "Offset."

“If I wanna put my man name on all my songs soooooo fuuuuuckkiiiiinnnng what! I loooovveeee the Nikka. Im his biggest fan. Like the nikka put a half milli ring on my finger and that good vitamin D. Imma mention his name even in my prayers bitch! Shit when Im about to die last word out my mouth is Offset.”

Cardi has been addressing fans throughout the day on Twitter, and it's pretty obvious she's wanted to clear the air on the Offset name-drop. One fan even thought Offset wrote the record for her, but she made to clap back at him and say no.

Check out Cardi's message to fans (below) and be sure to revisit the single right here if you've been sleeping.
