Sunday evening marked Cardi B’s debut on the Coachella stage. Fresh off the release of her debut Invasion of Privacy album, Cardi hopped on an elaborate stage in an all-white get up as she breezed through highlights found on the project, even bringing out a few friends for a little help.
“I’m running out of breath,” she joked before introducing her first guest. “You know my pregnant ass. I need some friends to help me out. Give it up for my friend G-Eazy.”
In addition to a live rendition of the duo’s “No Limit,” festivalgoers were also treated to a set that included further appearances from the likes of Chance The Rapper, who came out on “Best Life,” YG, who lent the assist on “She Bad” while Kehlani and 21 Savage also came out for their verses on “Ring” and “Bartier Cardi”,” respectively. On the solo tip, Cardi held her own on familiar cuts like "Be Careful," "Bickenhead," and delivered her verse on the remix to Bruno Mars' "Finesse" before, of course, being led by the crowd through her "Bodak Yellow" smash.

As far as stage presence, Cardi didn’t let the existence of a baby bump keep her from delivering on her usual energy. The setup was complete with a thick pack of backup dancers all rocking the same crisp white theme while pole dancers even came through with their talents on the metal fixtures that adorned the stage.
