Cardi B's presence was most certainly felt at the Met Gala, which found the Invasion Of Privacy rapper redefining the word "extravagant." However, the night took a dark turn when a man, named as admitted autograph-fiend Giovanni Arnold, proved overtly persistent in trying to land a Cardi autograph. Video footage shines a light on the instance, which finds Arnold attacked by members of Cardi's entourage; one particularly exuberant member comes through to administer the Falcon Kick to an already incapacitated Arnold. Interestingly enough, earlier reports seem to indicate that he was literally asking for the beat-down, although the severity seemed to be unwarranted.
Regardless of how you feel about the attack, it would appear that Cardi has finally broken the silence. Page Six reports on a since-deleted Tweet from the rapper, who seemed to think her privacy was indeed being invaded. “If you check my tag pics I take a lot of pics with fans. Some people are not fans & sometimes I don’t want no pics and I simply don’t want people too close cause of [my pregnancy]," writes Cardi. “I don’t know what are people’s intentions sooo I be careful. Why can’t people respect that?”
While she has a fair point, it does seem as if she might have to rein in her entourage. No use catching an unnecessary lawsuit. However, in a recent update from TMZ, Cardi can be seen opting for an "ignorance is bliss" approach. To be honest, chronology of her replies is a little unclear. Check out the latest video below.
