Even before he started last year's "First Of The Month" series, Cam'ron had two projects in the works that we still haven't heard. The first is a collaborative EP with A-Track called Federal Reserve, from which we've heard "Humphrey" and "Dipshits," and the last (maybe even of Cam'ron's career) is Purple haze 2, the long-awaited sequel to his best-loved album. In a new interview with Revolt, Killa Cam cleared up the reasons for all of the delays.
Mostly, it comes down to touring. He's been on the road all 2015 with Dipset on what sounds like it's a very well-received tour, and he also cites A-Trak's touring schedule as a hindrance for their project. Though not willing or able to pick specific dates yet, he says he's hoping for a Fall release date for Federal Reserve, and a December one for Purple Haze 2.
