Bryson Tiller is officially a high school graduate, and now he's got his sights set on attending college. Bryson has opened up in the past about having to drop out of high school to raise his daughter, Harley. He took a break from making music and started working day jobs to provide for his child, and never got around to capping off his high school career. But now, roughly nine years after he would have graduated, Bryson finally got his diploma, and he couldn't be happier.
The singer shared a photo of his name appearing on Iroquois High School's "Candidates for 2020 Graduation" list. "Class of 2020," he wrote. "I never thought about going back to school until i started thinking about my goals and how to reach them. getting my High School diploma was step 1. College is 100% next." He then goes on to thank the school as well as the Jefferson County Public School District in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
Along with the photo, Bryson also shared a video of himself rocking a cap and gown at his at-home graduation ceremony. As a voice introduces him as the "valedictorian" of his class, Bryson walks out of the house onto the deck and gets up on a chair to announce to the world "I graduated high school!" He proceeds to throw his cap in the air like the graduate that he is. Congrats Bryson!
