Well, here’s the link up you didn’t know you needed. Last month Charlie Puth dropped off a smooth R&B joint for his fans in an effort quell raging appetites for his forthcoming album Voicenotes.
On the track, “If You Leave Me Now,” you’ll recognize the impeccably familiar harmonies of veteran crooners Boyz II Men as they lend their skills to Puth’s latest, anchoring down the acapella backdrop, and now the quartet of men have released a video of the intimate studio session in which the cut was created.
It’s a track that Puth has previously described as “one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” and such a soothing offering will likely make its way to your list of favorites before this month is through.
