Compton rapper Boogie is set to have a huge year. He released Everything's For Sale in January and it's performed well. Being signed to Shady Records, it wasn't much of a surprise to see Eminem on the record. Their collaboration is currently sitting outside of the Top 10 on Billboard's chart, being one of the better rap songs released this year so far. Being from Los Angeles, Boog has been spoiled with the quality of his weed. Naturally, when he came to our New York offices, he wasn't very impressed with what was on the menu that day, absolutely going in on East Coast bud.
The first thing he says in the latest episode of "How To Roll" has to do with the pricing and quality of NY weed. "I would call this expensive, New York OG. Cause all y'all shit costs too much." Boogie is a fiend for his daily dose of weed, sending his friends out while he's hard at work in the studio to cop whatever is available. At times, he's even comfortable smoking "shake" when he's running low on supply. The rapper explained why he sticks to Backwoods these days. "The type of roller I am, I'm a selfish roller." Boogie says that he doesn't necessarily care how the blunt looks at the end of the day. "I only care if I'm able to hit it and I know where to hold this at. If it's a flute, at least I know how to play it."
