Blackbear's been riding the wave of his 2017 project Cybersex and since then, he's been dishing out some dope collaborations. Over the past few months, he's collaborated with Fat Nick on "Ice Out," Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda's "About You" which was a song about the death of Chester Bennington as well as Yung Pinch's "Smoke & Drive" alongside P-Lo. Today, he comes through with new single titled "The 1."
Blackbear is back with his new song "The 1" which premiered earlier today on Zane Lowe's Beats1 show. The song is one of the first solo singles we've received from Blackbeat since Cybersex last November. It's a poppy single that strays away from some of the trap sounds that dominated his album.
Now that he's released a new single, maybe a new project is on the way.
Quotable Lyrics
Can't seem to fight the demons
And it's sad to see
The one you once held on to
Pack up and leave
