Wakanda forever.

Marvel and Disney struck gold with Black Panther. It was the highest grossing movie at the domestic box office, and now it will return for an encore. Black Panther scored big at the SAG Awards. The film won one award for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture and one for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Now, the Oscar's Best Picture Nominee can be viewed in select theaters around the nation for just one week.

"Black Panther is groundbreaking for many reasons, including the rich diversity of voices behind its success," said Disney CEO Bob Iger in a statement. "The story also showcases the power of knowledge to change the world for the better, and the importance of ensuring everyone has access to it. We’re proud to provide thousands of free screenings of Black Panther in hopes it will continue to inspire audiences, and to support UNCF with a $1.5 million grant to make the dream of higher education a reality for more students." Black Panther will be available to watch in 250 select AMC Theatres for the week of February 1-7. The $1.5 million dollar donation to the United Negro College Fund Black and the re-screening of Black Panther are Disney's way of celebrating and honoring Black History Month.
