Last month, Black Chyna starred in the music video for Yo Gotti’s “Rake It Up” single with Nicki Minaj, and ever since she’s been taking a particular liking to this whole rap thing. A couple weeks ago, Chyna was spotted in the studio with Joe Budden and Young Berg cooking up what Joe called some “fire,” before later being spotted with producer A1 Bentley just the other night in the studio once again. While we have yet to hear anything in full, it turns out Black Chyna is indeed busy working on & recording an entire album, and she’s getting some major features to help her out in the process too TMZ has learned.
Sources told TMZ Tuesday night that Black Chyna has been working closely with Mally Mall, the Las Vegas producer who helped discovered her ex-boyfriend & baby daddy Tyga. The two curated hits like “Molly,” “Eat,” & “Wake Up In It” over the years, but nothing as of too recently.
TMZ also reports that Chyna is getting some major help with the features on the album as well. They’ve been informed that Yo Gotti, Tory Lanez, Jeremih and Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee, who was chilling in studio with Black Chyna and Mally in the clip (below), are all set to feature on her upcoming album. While this is kinda hearsay at the moment, those features alone would make for a pretty nice lineup and rap debut.
Of the type of style of music she’s aiming for, apparently Chyna is a pretty versatile artist and has been laying down tracks featuring rap, "poetry music" and traditional singing.
Unfortunately there’s no word yet as for when we might be able to hear her rap debut, but it could still be a little while from now because she’s definitely taking this seriously.
