Birdman wants his feud with Lil Wayne to be patched up so as to not affect their children.

Lil Wayne and Birdman are two of the biggest names in the history of hip-hop, generating success as a tandem and building Weezy's career to superstardom. Their past has been riddled with controversy as claims of Birdman holding off on Wayne's payments and the delay of Tha Carter V have been reported for years. The beginning of this year has seen a potential vast improvement in the pair's working relationship as they have been spotted together on-and-off in their attempt to squash the beef. Although an alleged "hostile" turn was taken in their business discussions, Birdman told Ebro Darden in part two of his Beats 1 interview that he's trying to repair the wounds of their relationship.

On his broken friendship with Wayne, Birdman said, "I'm not gon' let it just lay like that. It's important to me that I make sure that sh-t's straight. I ain't worried about it benefitting me; he deserves that from me and I'ma give him that blessing." Birdman continued by validating the importance of them squashing their beef, elaborating, "We gotta get this sh-t together cause it's affecting our kids."

Since Wayne's daughter is Birdman's godchild, the Cash Money Records co-founder is ensuring that he does everything in his power to get back on the right page with Tunechi. Hopefully, that means Wayne gets his deserved bag soon enough and our ears are finally blessed with Carter V. Watch the video below to catch Birdman's full remarks about his "son."
