The relationship seems to be on good terms following their legal battle.

Birdman blessed the public with a demonstration of good faith for his associate, Lil Wayne. He came to the Lil Weezyana Fest to issue an apology in front of all of its attendees.

Birdman addressed the Champion Square crowd.

“I don’t know what ya’ll know. But I know what the f*ck I know, and I know how I feel about what I know. I knew this day was gon’ come, but I didn’t know when it was gon’ come."

Birdman qualifies their relationship as one that will last a whole lifetime.

“I wanted to apologize to my n**ga worldwide. That n**ga put his life in my hands and I’m real with that n**ga, we gon’ do that sh*t ’til the day we die. It’s YMCMB for death.”

This public statement comes after the pair's legal battle. Lil Wayne ultimately settled with Cash Money for $51 million in June. Birdman's appearance confirms the words of the rapper's lawyer, Ron Sweeney.

“The matter has been amicably resolved to the satisfaction of all parties. In terms of the particulars, we’re prohibited legally from saying anything further. I can say that my client is happy. He is his own man, a man that owns his assets, his music and himself. At some point, Wayne will let his fans know what’s going to happen next.”
