Los Angeles native Billie Eilish is the talk of the music industry as the 17-year-old artist has been crowned the next "it" girl on the scene, and the hype around her has intensified now that she's dropped her debut album WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? Last week Eilish released the Takashi Murakami-animated visual for her single "You Should See Me in a Crown," a track that is listed on her recent release along with other previously released songs "Bury a Friend" and "Wish You Were Gay."
The vibe on WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? is ominous and haunting, but with an appeal that makes you want to continue falling down the rabbit hole. The production is hypnotizing and much more mature than the teen who is putting out her debut effort. "I don't think I really tried hard to have my sound," Eilish recent told NPR. "So I think that's why it happened. I think when you don't try super hard, things just tend to happen faster."
