Former actor and stand-up comedian Bill Cosby filed a motion against his former defense team. While currently incarcerated for claims of sexual assaults against several women, The Cosby Show star is now suing the lawyers who defended his case for allegedly cheating him out of millions. According to The Blast, the motion was filed last Friday afternoon and served to the lawyers of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. The firm was involved in 10 different cases set forth against the entertainer, including the one filed by accuser Janice Dickinson, before backing out of the Cosby affair altogether. Since then, the lawyers involved fought for unpaid fees via arbitration and were awarded $2.4 million dollars as a result.

This time, Cosby returns for the lawyers' neck by claiming to have been cheated out of an amount nearing $9 million dollars over the span of 9 months. The actual breakdown cites a total of 11,205 hours billed through 9-months and leading to a final amount of $8,550,645.50 dollars. The latter was distributed amongst the 28 attorneys from five different cities who were called to work on the case. Though Cosby places some of the blame on his deteriorating eyesight, he was able to clearly see through the alleged deception. Precisely, Cosby filed a petition to vacate the arbitration award previously given to his former defense team.
