In the months following Nipsey Hussle's tragic murder, his peers, friends and family have had time to think about how to process his loss. The Game has been posting regular reminders of his spirit online while close friends YG and his partner Lauren London have periodically gone to social media to publicly mourn. Big Sean and Jhené Aiko shared loving messages with one another after hearing about Nip's passing, realizing that everything can be taken away in an instant. Today, Sean reacted in a different manner. While he completely kept his cool, the rapper posted a level-headed message to Eric Holder, the man accused of murdering Nipsey Hussle, on his Instagram.
Speaking to Holder for just over two minutes, Sean Don wanted to stress the importance of communication. He knows that he's not the best person at relaying his emotions but he's been working on it and every day, he sees improvement in the way situations are handled. As for Eric Holder, he believes that those who choose to take somebody's life "out of impulse or for revenge" are making "a permanent solution to a temporary problem." He goes on to say that we may not know the true value of life, explaining that when you decide to kill someone, you're setting back their family and their whole lineage. Sean says that it's not worth it to go to such extreme lengths, noting that whatever happened could have been prevented through simple communication.
Yesterday, it was reported that Eric Holder had pistol-whipped somebody mere hours before travelling to The Marathon Clothing and killing Nipsey Hussle. The man is currently in police custody.
