It was confirmed a couple days ago that Beyonce wouldn’t be reuniting with her former group, Destiny Child's, at this year’s upcoming Coachella festival, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she won’t be there at all. Rumors are circulating online today that Beyonce, along with Eminem & The Weekend, could be headlining this year’s 2018 Coachella Festival in California.
While it's only a juicy rumor at the moment, it does make some sense when you think about it. Beyonce had to cancel last year’s headlining set due to her pregnancy, so maybe she’s making it up this year? Eminem on the other hand is coming off a brand new album himself called Revival & is set to go on a worldwide tour in 2018, so maybe there’s some truth to this rumor after all.
Reports suggest that Coachella will officially announce the line up in early January, and representatives for the festival couldn't be reached at this time. So we'll have to wait and see.
Coachella is held every year at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Next year’s festival will take place over the two weekends of April 13-15 and April 20-22. Last year, we saw Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga & Radiohead all hit the stage and serve as the festival’s headliners.
We’ll continue to keep you posted once any information is confirmed or revealed. In the meantime, let us know who else you’d like to see perform at this year’s Coachella?
