BeatKing keeps up his prolific streak with the release of Stripper Friends, the follow-up to May's Astroworld 2. As usual, he's delivered some memorable cover art along with a collection of strip-club-friendly anthems, living up to his title of Houston Club God. On this project, he's decided to get back to basics, using no featured artists and producing much of the tape himself. Other contributors to the production on the album include TM88, GT of Ear Drummers, Soundmob, Will-A-Fool, and Sgt. J.
In case you've missed some of the many solid projects from BeatKing over the last few years, make sure to check out AstroWorld 2, Texlanta 2, Gangsta Stripper Music 3, Club God 5, Texlanta, 3 Weeks, Houston 3AM, and Club God 4. And that's just since 2015!
When we spoke to BeatKing a few years back, he explained the style he's deemed Gangsta Stripper Music. "I started calling myself Club God -- if I'm on these trap beats talking about some bitches, I don't have to talk about selling dope or none of that shit 'cause I've never done that," he said. "That's my own little lane so I kinda named it Gangsta Stripper Music because it's some hard-ass strip club shit. People have told me 'man, you're making songs for bitches, but they're so hard I can ride to 'em'."
