Azizi Gibson returns with "Black Rose."

Azizi Gibson been on fire this year. He kicked off the year with a few loose singles before dropping his latest album Memoirs Of A Reaper. He's been putting in a steady amount of work since then with loose singles dropping here and there and rocking many festival stages throughout the summer. You'd assume that the German-born, LA raised rapper would be chillin' on dropping another project until the new year but that's not the case. He revealed that he's gearing up to drop his upcoming EP I'm Good On People and with that, he's unveiled the first single off of the project, "Black Rose."

"Black Rose" isn't the typical sound you'd expect from Gibson. He introduces his upcoming project with a dancehall-inspired joint. It's a mellow joint where Gibson flexes his singing abilities. It's a different vibe but it works out well for Gibson as he continues to prove that he's capable to do much more than rap. "Black Roses" is a testament to his creativity and versatility as an artist.

He sent a message to his fans in the description box of the Soundcloud post. He wrote "i wanted to take a new approach with this project and you'll soon learn what that is but for now, enjoy this fuckingggg BANGERRRRRRRRR. a song like this deserves to be on the radio. FUCK POLITICS. its not about the music just about the clicks."

While he gears up for his upcoming EP, he's also announced that he'd be hitting the road. He took to Instagram to share the flyer for the "I'm Good On People" Tour. The 23-date tour will kick off on October 7th in Oberlin, Ohio before ending the tour in Minneapolis on December 31st at the SNOWTA NYE festival. Clearly, he's been putting in a lot of work this year and it's showing off. With the release of "Black Rose", it's exciting to find out how the rest of the project will turn out.
