Ayesha Curry, wide of Golden State Warriors All Star guard Stephen Curry, is set to host a new cooking competition show on ABC called, "Family Food Fight."
According to Variety, the show is inspired by the Australian version of the same name, which pits eight families from across the United States against each other in a battle to determine which is the country’s top food family. The winning group will take home a grand prize of $100,000.
Produced by Endemol Shine North America, “Family Food Fight” was created by Endemol Shine Australia with Nine in Australia. The original series on which the U.S. version is based was recently renewed for a second season. Curry, Robert Flutie and Shab Azma serve as executive producers through Yardie Girl Productions; DJ Nurre, Georgie Hurford-Jones and Faye Stapleton also serve as executive producers for Endemol Shine North America, according to the press release.
Ayesha Curry's culinary skills have been well documented in recent years, as she previously served as co-host of ABC’s “The Great American Baking Show,” and hosted the show “Ayesha’s Homemade” for The Food Network. Not to mention, she also has her own cookbook, "The Seasoned Life."
As of now, no premiere date has yet been set for "Family Food Fight."
