Avicii's sudden passing on April 20th rocked the music world with numerous acts coming forward sharing how much the EDM star positively impacted their lives and the genre as a whole. Seven weeks after his reported suicide, the 28-year-old has finally been laid to rest in Stockholm on Sunday at the Skogskyrkogården cemetery.
One of his closest pals, Jesse Waits, shared an image of the service itinerary as well as some touching photos of past times the duo shared.
As we've posted before, Tim was found in his Oman home and his family asked for a private service for those closest to him.
"Our beloved Tim was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul searching for answers to existential questions. An over-achieving perfectionist who travelled and worked hard at a pace that led to extreme stress. When he stopped touring, he wanted to find a balance in life to be happy and be able to do what he loved most -- music," an official family statement read. "He really struggled with thoughts about Meaning, Life, Happiness. He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace."
