As promo for Avengers: Infinity War continues to roll out, fans are being treated to literally milliseconds of new footage from the film. Keen-eyed Avengers fans are breaking down every single television spot second by second to discern any new information they can about the upcoming superhero team up. There is no doubt that Thanos will end up killing one, if not all, of the Avengers. If I went on a rant about what I think the Russo Brothers will bring to the film from the comics, you might be here reading a manual until the film hits theaters in two weeks.
In a new TV spot for Avengers: Infinity War, two key pieces of never before seen footage are shown in the blink of an eye. The first new piece of footage comes at the beginning of the trailer, and it shows Thanos and his villainous Black Order standing in a pile of utter destruction as purple remnants streak across the environment. Thanos, who's wearing the Infinity Gauntlet, has his arm raised and makes a fist, enabling the power of the Power Stone. The last time fans saw the Power Stone, the Nova Corps was safeguarding it at the end of the first Guardians of the Galaxy. The new footage appears to show a destroyed Nova Corps and a triumphant Thanos standing in the wake of all the destruction after he steals the powerful gem.
Later in the trailer, Iron Man and Star-Lord are locked in what appears to be a battle with each other. Maybe their egos cause them to fight, but then again, maybe Thanos takes control of one of them with the Mind Gem. The scene literally flashed by in a half second (at approx: 0:24)
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters worldwide on April 27. Check out the new TV spot below.
