After ten years of building up an epic cosmic war, and 18 movies that gave Marvel fans backstories and subplots, Avengers: Infinity War is finally upon us. The full movie was screened for the first time ever in Hollywood on Monday, and all the superheroes showed up. From Chadwick Boseman and Robert Downey Jr., to Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan, the entire MCU was dressed to impress. Most notably, Vin Diesel, who plays Groot in the film, showed up in an all-white jacket that featured Groot's roots growing from inside of it. Now that's dedication.
"I want to thank them for having spent all these years for coming to see my cameos, and of course watching the movie with it," Stan Lee stated prior to the screening. The comic book creating legend has watched his ideas grow from sketches to a billion dollar movie industry in the last 70 years. "And now I think they're going to find the funniest cameo of all," he concluded.
Thanos, the big baddy that was first introduced in The Avengers post credit scene back in 2012, serves as the main character in the superhero epic, which hits theaters on April 27.
Our spoiler-free, or as spoiler-free as we can possibly make it, review of the film will be available tomorrow (April 25).
