French Montana has now been signed to Diddy's Bad Boy Records, as they revealed on BET's 106 & Park yesterday.

Diddy explained why he signed the Bronx rapper, "It's obvious.His work ethic, his song-making, the effect he has on the youngins. If you ever been to one of his shows, every time he drops a record. Also, it's important, I'm from New York, you know what I'm saying. I rep New York to the fullest. And for real, for real, can't nothing move in this city without us being a part of it."

Young Jeezy spoke to Billboard's The Juice on his recently released track, "O.J.," which seems controversial, but Jeezy says it's not.

Facing felony weapons charges from November 2009, B.G. appeared before a judge yesterday to plead guilty in the case.

According to NOLA (via DDot Omen), the 31-year-old faces up to 40 years in prison for the crime, which occurred during a traffic stop several years ago. The former Hot Boys rapper had guns in his possession - a violation as a convicted felon - and conspired with an associate to get another person, Demounde Pollard, to sign an affidavit falsely stating he owned the guns.

Machine Gun Kelly has been gearing up for his debut album, which is most likely slated for release in 2012. During an interview with FLuD, the Bad Boy rapper said that he finished recording the LP and explained how he likes to divvy up time between the studio and performing.

During a recent interview, Wiz Khalifa discussed the Taylor Gang signing of Three 6 Mafia's Juicy J. The signing, Wiz said, was one that needed to happen to bridge the gap between them. Khalifa also reflected on what has made him such a fan of J.
