"It’s never my intention to offend anybody.”

Whenever Ariana Grande drops off a new track, she usually receives nothing but love and appreciation from her fans but her most recent release, "7 Rings" hasn't been that well received. Soulja Boy, 2 Chainz and Princess Nokia have come forward to call Ariana out for allegedly stealing their flow for her new single.

"Does that sound familiar to you? 'Cause that sound really familiar to me," Princess Nokia said in a video listening to the song. "Ain't that the little song I made about brown women and their hair? Hmmm.. Sounds about white."

Now Ariana has come forward with her own comments regarding a post she made to her Instagram story that has since been deleted. “‘You like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it’… White women talking about their weaves is how we’re gonna solve racism," she wrote. The "God Is A Woman" singer received even more backlash for the comment which promoted her drop off an official statement in The Shaderoom comments.

“Hi hi… I think her intention was to be like… yay a white person disassociating the negative [stereotype] that is paired with the word 'weave'… however I’m so sorry if my response was out of pocket or if it came across the wrong way," she wrote. "Thanks for opening the conversation and like… to everyone for talking to me about it. It’s never my intention to offend anybody.”
