Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are gearing up to battle to be Undisputed heavyweight champion.

Anthony Joshua has held the majority of the heavyweight title belts for a while now and there was always a sense that he would be able to compete for the undisputed title once Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder figured out their feud. Of course, Fury decimated Wilder the last time the two stepped into the ring and Joshua was foaming at the mouth for a chance to beat his fellow countryman. Well, according to promoter Eddie Hearn, Joshua and Wilder have worked out a two-fight deal that would come into effect in 2021.

The only issue is that Fury needs to fight Wilder for the third time and he is also scheduled to battle Dillian Whyte. Regardless, the consensus is that Fury will be able to get those jobs done, which will set up his unified fight with Joshua.

This fight will certainly be a treat for boxing fans as it is something they have been waiting for, for a long time. Many believed it would be Wilder who would defeat Fury and face Joshua but, of course, things just didn't work out that way. Either way, this is a huge development for the boxing world and can only mean good things moving forward for the heavyweight division.
