Bourdain had some strong words to say about Clinton and Weinstein.

Anthony Bourdain was a very vocal supporter of the #Metoo and #TimesUp movements before he passed away earlier this year. Bourdain, another beautiful soul who took his own life, felt very strongly about Bill Clinton and Harvey Weinstein, two men who have become infamous for their sexual exploitations. In an interview with Populawhich was one of the last interviews Bourdain did before his passing, the celebrity chef admits that he thinks Clinton was a pervert and that he has no love for Weinstein.

"I would look at this way. I would never under any circumstances vote for Bill Clinton today," he began. "But I think impeaching the guy over Lewinsky was ridiculous. Particularly given today." When asked why he believed that Clinton should not have been impeached, Bourdain offered a straight forward answer. "Bill Clinton, look, the bimbo eruptions—it was fucking monstrous," he stated. "That would not have flown today. A piece of shit. Entitled, rapey, gropey, grabby, disgusting, and the way that he—and she—destroyed these women and the way that everyone went along, and, and are blind to this! Screamingly apparent hypocrisy and venality. How you can on the one hand howl at the moon about all these other predators. And not at least look back. OK, let’s say, well, it was all consensual: powerful men, starstruck women, okay fine, let’s accept it at its most charitable interpretation. Fine. He is a very charming man, I met him, he’s fucking magnetic."

On the topic of Weinstein, Bourdain is a little less forgiving. "As much as I’d like to see him, you know beaten to death in his cell," commented the chef when speaking on how the former movie producer was out and about enjoying his freedom. He continued on to paint a picture of Weinstein dying alone with no one to call for help.
