The 2017 American Music Awards are set for Sunday evening [November 19] as Hip-Hop's biggest stars dominate this year's nominations in an instance that is sure to be one of exciting proportions for the genre.
It is Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and The Weeknd who head up this year's nominations, with all three men locking down five each. You can also catch nominations headed towards Rae Sremmurd in the Favorite Hip Hop Song Category for "Black Beatles," Post Malone in the New Artists Of The Year category, Childish Gambino, who is up for Favorite Soul/R&B Artist and Favorite Soul/R&B Album for Awaken! My Love, DJ Khaled whose "I'm The One" collaboration earns two nods, and Migos who are up against Drake and Kendrick Lamar in the categories for Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Album.
Taking place at L.A.'s Microsoft Theater, the festivities kick off at 8 p.m. EST and will air live via ABC. Take a glance at the list of nominees below and be sure to check back throughout the night as we update the results.
