Amber Heard has officially responded to Johnny Depp's $50 million dollar defamation lawsuit after the actress accused him of physical abuse after their year of marriage. According to Page Six, Amber has gone on record to detail many horrible moments of getting abused by Johnny where his addiction to certain substances brought out "The Monster."
“About a year into our relationship, I began to witness Johnny abusing drugs and alcohol … On some occasions, when Johnny simultaneously used both illegal narcotics and prescription medications I have had to get him medical attention. Whenever he was using, I worried for both of us. He would become a totally different person, often delusional and violent. We called that version of Johnny, ‘the Monster,’" she explained.
Amber detailed a time she was on a plane with Johnny and he got so annihilated that he began taunting her about a love scene she did with James Franco in a film.
“On the flight, Johnny ordered the flight attendants to give him an oxygen tank, and drank heavily. Johnny’s handlers told me that he was upset that I was filming a movie with a romantic scene with James Franco the day before. Soon, Johnny began to throw objects at me. Instead of reacting to his behavior, I simply moved seats. That didn’t stop him. He provocatively pushed a chair at me as I walked by, yelled at me, and taunted me by yelling out the name ‘James Franco.’"
Johnny eventually passed out in the plane's bathroom after he kicked Amber in the back and threw his shoes at her. Amber still has text messages sent to her by Johnny, that read his lengthy apologies after being told by security what he did to his wife once he sobered up. “My illness somehow crept up and grabbed me … I must get better . . . Again, I am so sorry, so sorry. … I love you and I feel so bad for letting you down," one text wrote.
