It’s a sad day for the entertainment world. “Growing Pains” star Allen Thicke passed away Tuesday afternoon at the age of 69 TMZ first reported & eventually confirmed by both Thicke’s publicist Tracy Mapes and his ex-wife singer/actress Gloria Loring.
The 69-year-old actor reportedly suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son Carter on Tuesday. According to TMZ, Thicke and his son were at a rink in Burbank, California, when Thicke came down with chest pain before becoming nauseous and vomiting. At about 11:30 an ambulance took Thicke to Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank where he was declared dead at the hospital.
Allen is survived by his wife Tanya and sons Brennan, Carter and superstar pop-singer Robin Thicke. Fans & celebrities have already been taking to social media to pay their condolences, including Paula Patton, Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan Seacrest, Bob Sagat, Olivia Munn, John Legend and even Drake for that matter.
