Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have been engaged for just over a month now and have only been spotted in post-engagement bliss as they continue with their busy schedules working and balancing family time. Alex was a recent guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and explained the moment he got down on one knee, revealing how it took six months to plan the special day.
“I planned it for about six months and it was on a beach in the Bahamas,” Alex explained. “I had the ring, but what was interesting is the three days prior to me going down on one knee and getting engaged was I rehearsed three days in a row.”
The retired baseball player further explained how he even practiced the whole proposal with his assistant, timing it around the sunset. “One time the sunset was at 6:27 [p.m.], the next day 6:29 [p.m.] and then the third day it was raining," he said. “So, I kind of came out at around 6:29 [p.m.] and it worked out well.”
"We haven't started planning yet, you know, we just got engaged, and then right afterwards we started working right away and we're working the rest of the year so I don't know, I don't know what's going to happen. We haven't decided if we're going to squeeze it in somewhere of we're going to wait so you know..." the "Dinero" singer recently explained. "I really don't know yet, It's easy, I'm not lying right now."
