Air Jordan 1
OG sneakerheads rejoice, a classic is coming back.

When Michael Jordan signed with Nike, his first ever shoe was the Air Jordan 1 and it was released back in 1984. The shoe forever lives in infamy thanks to the "Banned" colorway which is all black, with red on the Nike swoosh, toe box, and back heel overlays. The NBA deemed the shoe illegal and fined Jordan every game that he played in it. Nike paid every single fine as they knew the shoe's selling power would more than makeup for the financial losses of the fines.

There have been multiple rereleases of the Air Jordan 1 "Banned" over the years, but now, it appears as though we will see the shoe return in its OG form on Black Friday, November 29th. According to @zsneakerheadz, the cut of the shoe, as well as its silhouette will mimic that of the shoe that came out back in 1984. Over the years, the Air Jordan 1 has seen slight changes to its silhouette but this time around, Jordan Brand will appeal to the OG's out there.

This release will mark one of many OG drops this year which includes the "Bred" colorways of the Air Jordan 4, 6, and 11.
