Boogie Wit Da Hoodie isn't divulging much about his next project for the most part, but he was in a giving mood this afternoon. The Highbridge rapper posted a selfie with YouTube sensation Queen Naija in which he stated the two had cooked something for his next LP. The caption stated: "not much features on the album but this one was a must @queennaija congrats on everything."
If you aren't one of Queen Naija's 4.3 million Instagram followers, let me bring you up to speed. Naija shot up to fame as one half of Chris and Queen, a YouTube channel she runs with husband Chris Sails. Most of their content revolves around spousal pranks, short vignettes, and on occasion, musical parody. The vlogger has been able to leverage her YouTube fame into a singing career, releasing a self-titled EP little over two weeks ago.
Beyond the public endorsement and the work they'll eventually publish together, Naija and A Boogie have essentially acknowledges each other's presence in the Universe on the friendliest of terms. As evidenced by her single "Medicine," Queen Naija is taking her 2nd career quite seriously. This is essentially R&B the way it was outlined for thousands upon thousands of years.
