Last year, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie impressed with his official debut album, The Bigger Artist. Now, the New York rapper has officially unveiled plans for his sophomore album Hoodie SZN, which is set to drop on December 21st, 2018. Taking to Instagram to share the official album artwork, Artist has included a personalized message alongside the announcement, promising something for the "Day One" fans.
"My Sophomore Album #HoodieSzn drops 12/21/18," writes A Boogie, alongside the comic-inspired album artwork. "It took me over a year to complete and I can't wait for you all to hear it. This is for my Day 1's. Thank You for riding with me. Pre-orders go live this Friday."
The news bodes well for those hoping Boogie's recent The International Artist was more an experiment than a general rule; that's not to say the eclectic project wasn't a worthy addition to his catalog, but it certainly featured a marked difference from the more hip-hop oriented sound of his debut. Hearing that Hoodie SZN has been carefully crafted for the Day-one-fans bodes well indeed. Stay tuned for that new A Boogie album, set to drop on December 21st, 2018.
