Paris Jackson rang in her 20th birthday earlier this week in the presence of family and friends. It was on Friday evening that the only daughter of the late Michael Jackson found company in the likes of Chris Brown, brother Prince Jackson, Paris Hilton, Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross at HYDE Sunset in West Hollywood.
Paris could be seen donning a retro 60s-inspired outfit with pink hair while she enjoyed a custom birthday cake on which Chris Brown helped her blow out her candles. Overall, it seemed to be another peg in a stream of positivity in the public eye for the budding model and actress.
It was in 2013 that the then-15-year-old Jackson attempted to commit suicide after slashing her wrists and taking 20 Motrin pills. She previously broke her silence on the incident at the top of last year, admitting that, "It was just self-hatred, low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn't do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore […] I'm a completely different person [...] I was crazy. I was actually crazy. I was going through a lot of, like, teen angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help."
Other notable guests who popped up at the festivities including Thirty Seconds To Mars' Jared Leto and other members of the Hilton family, including Kathy, Ricky, and Paris Hilton's fiance, Chris Zylka.
