Drake's "Nice For What" video, directed by the 22-year-old newcomer Karena Evans, who was also behind the "God's Plan" visuals, features a large cast of iconic, influential women. Tiffany Haddish, Issa Rae, Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi, Letitia Wright, Rashida Jones, Michelle Rodriguez, the Internet's Syd, and Emma Roberts are among those who have cameos in the clip, and a few of them have voiced their excitement about the project on Twitter and Instagram.
"honored to be amongst a group of brilliant/fierce women whom I admire, and directed by another woman I admire," wrote Yara Shahidi. Black Panther's Letitia Wright also praised her costars, as well as the artist-director team. "'You gotta be nice for what to these' 🙊 Starring Phenomenal Women 🙌🏾 Dope flow from @champagnepapi x Directed by @karenaevans." Haddish weighed in with "This video is great and Everybody is Looking Good," shouting out Issa, Trace Ellis Ross, Zoe Saldana, and more. Olivia Wilde requested that fans "turn it up LOUD."
Check out some of the responses from the talented cast of the video above. Drake's "God's Plan" has now spent 10 weeks atop the charts, debuting at No. 1 its first week. Could the rapper potentially unseat himself at No. 1 with this star-studded video? It seems entirely possible.
