A$AP Mob have announced the addition of French Montana, Playboi Carti and Flatbush Zombies to an already star-studded lineup for Yams Day 2018, which goes down January 18th at the New York Expo Center in the Bronx. Tickets are available here, with a portion of the sales going to A$AP Foundation.
It's a great way to start off 2018 for the group that made a comeback last summer, releasing Cozy Tapes Vol. 2 to a fan base that was dying for another crew tape. In that same vein, A$AP Ferg also dropped his own solo project, Still Strivin', which featured cuts like "Plain Jane" and other strong tracks. They'll be joined by some heavy hitters like French Montana, who took over urban radio with his crossover hit "Unforgettable," which also upped the value of Swae Lee's stock considerably.
Playboi Carti's "Magnolia" was also one of the biggest songs of 2017, which means that even more hits will be packed into what will surely be a terrific 2018 edition for Yams Day. Lil Yachty, NAV, G Perico and a host of other acts are also scheduled to be taking part in the festivities. As was mentioned earlier, a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Always Strive And Prosper Foundation. The organization, founded two years ago by Tatiana Rodriguez (who is Yams' mother), the organization is "dedicated to providing young people with accessible and realistic education about substance use and abuse," as per information delivered by the event's organizers.
