Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball kicked off his 20th birthday celebration this morning by sharing a preview of his latest single, "Get Off," which will be available soon via several platforms, including Tidal, Apple Music, iTunes, and Spotify.
Less than a week ago, Lonzo released a song called "Super Saiyan," referencing the Dragon Ball Z anime franchise, and he helped introduce his youngest brother's signature sneaker last month with his first single called "Melo 1."
Listen to Lonzo's latest below.
In addition to his talent on the mic, Lonzo has experienced success thus far in his first four games with the young Lakers squad. Fresh off a win against John Wall and the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night, Lonzo is currently averaging 11.5 points, nine assists and eight rebounds in roughly 36 minutes of action per game.
While Lonzo's father, LaVar, has made plenty of lofty predictions for him and his Lakers teammates, the 20-year old point guard isn't in the business of talking the talk, he just let's his play speak for itself.
LaVar recently cautioned other NBA players around the league about the dangers of targeting Lonzo.
Via Bleacher Report:
“It’s a team game. That’s how you’re going to beat someone. If you go one-on-one, you’re never going to win. If you keep taking it personal, trying to go one-on-one with my son, you’re going to lose every time.
“You’re not going to just walk in here and think you’re going to get a win. It’s all fun and games, but they ain’t Disneyland. It’s Lakerland, next to Big Baller Brand.”
In regards to having a target on his back every game thanks to LaVar's comments, Lonzo says, "I already knew everybody was going to come at me like that... I'm not going to get into any twitter war. I'm going to go out there and help my team."
The Lakers, 2-2, will play host to the Toronto Raptors tonight at Staples Center.
