Cardi B has some heat on the way.

Cardi B has supposedly been hard at work on the material that will serve as the follow-up to her runaway hit single "Bodak Yellow," a track that recently crossed the 3x Platinum. Not much is known about the rapper's upcoming music, but she has been dropping hints here and there via some song teaser videos that have been uploaded to social media. Over the weekend, Cardi shared yet another update with her fans, this time from the back of her ride while on tour in Europe.

Found on her Instagram page, Cardi B decided to showcase some of her unreleased bars in a video snippet that only raised the level of anticipation to new heights for her new album. With a bass-heavy trap beat running behind her vocals, Cardi spits some straight fire, executing a strong flow that recalls that of the Migos, perhaps more specifically Offset. She and the member of the ATL trio are currently engaged, so maybe there's been some time for a coaching session or two, but the clip confirms that Cardi is not going to soften up her delivery and, by association, her image anytime soon.

The video was shot in the back of the vehicle she was being driven around in while in the Netherlands this weekend. Playing to a raucous crowd of die-hard fans, Cardi turned up in a big way for her supporters across the pond. You can check out some live footage from that performance below.

There's no denying that Cardi B is under a lot of scrutiny and pressure where her new music is concerned. After becoming the first female rapper to hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 with an unassisted track since Lauryn Hill did it nearly twenty years earlier, she's aware of how high the stakes are. However, based on the quality of the track that can be heard in the most recent video teaser, the future looks just as positive as the present does for the NYC emcee.
