It's been almost a year since Jeezy released his Trap Or Die 3 album. The album did well commercially but for the majority of 2017, we haven't really heard much from him except for a few singles here and there and one or two guest verses he decided to pop up on. He's looking to change that in the near future.
Earlier this morning, Jeezy hit up Instagram to announce that he has some new music coming with Tee Grizzley as well as another single with Diddy. The Tee Grizzley single, "Cold Summer," features some poppin' piano over some heavy drums. Jeezy's heard rapping, "You can feel the breeze/30 in the glock, all you gotta do is squeeze/It just touched down, all you gotta do is sell 'em/And they gon' ask you questions but you better not tell them." You can't hear much from Tee Grizzley except for one or two adlibs but it's definitely sounding like it's a great fit for both Tee Grizzley and Jeezy.
In the caption of the song, it reads "Stay tuned!! #TrustaYaProcess #SnowSeason #ColdSummer aka Winter time @tee_grizzley Let's go!!"
The other preview Jeezy shared is only a portion of the hook for the Diddy assisted "Bottles Up". On the hook, Jeezy raps, "Bottles up, hold 'em high/ Put your rollies, in the sky." In the midst of it, you hear Diddy throw ad-libs and shout out Avion tequila, which endorses Jeezy and of course, Diddy's own brands, DeLeon Tequila and Ciroc. The single also features an interpolation of Three 6 Mafia's "Tear Da Club Up."
Despite the fact that he's been on the hush lately, at least with solo music, it seems that he's gearing up to finally drop Snow Season. He's been dropping a few guest verses throughout this year but nothing incredibly notable. He's been busy with other ventures and continues to expand his business portfolio. At the tail end of September, he announced a partnership with Nashville high end water company, Defiance Fuel.
