Auburn pulls a victory over No. 1 seeded Alabama.

This Saturday proved to produce an upset of great proportions in the college football sphere. By the end of the 82nd Iron Bowl taking place at Auburn University's Jordan-Hare Stadium, No. 1 Alabama found itself being handed a defeat in which Auburn took the SEC West Title, advancing to the SEC championship game against the University of Goergia.

It was with a score of 26-14 that the Tigers ultimately proved victorious, claiming their second win over a No. 1 team at home. Two weeks ago, Auburn took the 'W' over Georgia 40-17.

It was Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham who threw for 237 yards while Tigers' running back managed to go for 104 yards on the ground before going out in the fourth quarter due to a shoulder injury sustained in a touchdown run in the third quarter. For Alabama, it proved to be one of the squad's sloppier performances under Nick Saban's direction with the Crimson Tide committing a total of eight penalties on Saturday.

Next Saturday, UGA will get its rematch against Auburn in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This will be the first championship game that UGA plays since its loss to Alabama in 2012.
