Seemingly everybody is voicing their opinions about Kanye West's recent comments about slavery. So far, some pretty lethal responses have been made, with Chris Brown's particularly coming from a passionate place. The next to react to Ye's rant at the TMZ offices is fellow Chicagoan G Herbo. Having recently blown up off the success of his "Who Run It" freestyle, with attempts to recreate the magic from basically every rapper in the game, Herbo has built a platform for himself in music. Using his position to comment on Kanye's slavery comments, Herb notes that much like Yeezy believes slavery was "a choice," consumers have the same choice when purchasing his music or clothing.
Sharing a photo of the now-infamous Kanye photo where he wears a "Make America Great Again" cap, Herbo did not hold back as he captioned the photo, "YEAHHHH HE A BITCH!! HE A TRAITOR JUDAS ASS K--N ASS!!" The photo is reposted from a democratic political page, reading, "Kanye says slavery was 'a choice.' So is buying his music or clothing. Choose wisely." Herbo continued his Kanye attack by stating he will never touch another Yeezy sneaker, adding, "WE ALL KNEW THAT BUT IF I SEE SOME RAW ASS YEEZYS THAT MATCH MY FIT IM SORRY."
The savage response comes after Kanye exclaimed that he believes slavery "sounds like a choice," alienating a large portion of his audience and shocking people to the point where they felt a need to speak up. This has to be one of the most interesting album rollouts we've ever experienced.
