This is good news for those who have been bummed about a potential delay on the Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne project that was looking to possibly be materializing. Juelz Santana has not had the greatest last few weeks as he was arrested on gun and drug charges after a bizarre fiasco at the Newark Airport, concluding in Juelz allegedly leaving all his belongings behind and making a run for it. The rapper had been in jail since March 12 and, while he was denied bail last week, he looks to have been released.
Working together frequently as part of The Diplomats, Cam'ron and Juelz Santana have a lot of history and plenty of hits from the Diplomatic Immunity projects. From the looks of it, the "Dipset" rapper has made his way home after spending nearly a month behind bars. Cam'ron posted a screenshot of a video call with Santana on the other line, with both grinning from ear to ear. "F-ck they talking bout!!!! @thejuelzsantana home!!!!! 🔨 #TheBrotherhood," wrote Killa Cam, affirming his Diplomat brother's release.
While the details of Juelz's release are still developing, it was reported recently that he would be federally prosecuted in the airport gun and drugs case with the state of New Jersey dropping the case. We will keep an eye on any emerging details as they arise. With Juelz out of jail, the possibility of an imminent I Can't Feel My Face release will build anticipation for the long-awaited project as both he and Lil Wayne were teasing its probability earlier this year.
