When Donald Trump isn't making executive decisions in the oval office, he enjoys a good round on the golf course. It's a presidential activity. However, Trump has his own golf course that he prefers to play on. Yesterday, after Thanksgiving, Trump spent the afternoon at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. Today, he left from his Mar-a-Lago vacation home to hit up the Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, FL. However, the interesting part is that he played a round of golf with two of the most revered players in the world.
Trump hit up the golf course to spend some time hitting a couple balls with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson earlier today. Trump's been growing his list of golf partners. He recently got on the course to tee off with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
"Will be speaking to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey this morning about bringing peace to the mess that I inherited in the Middle East," he tweeted, "After Turkey call I will be heading over to Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter, to play golf (quickly) with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson. Then back to Mar-a-Lago for talks on bringing even more jobs and companies back to the USA!"
This isn't the first time he and Woods have gone golfing together. Prior to Trump's inauguration, he and Woods played a round at the same Trump's National Golf Club. Woods would later detail his game with Trump, saying that he was impressed by the President's swing at such an old age. He did say the two of them didn't have a match but instead, played for fun.
Despite all of this, Woods is known to play golf with other presidents in the past. He previously played with George H.W. Bush. Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
Aside from Johnson and Woods, he's been known to play a few rounds with some other prominent golf players including Japanese star golfer, Hideki Matsuyama, Ireland's Rory McIllroy as well as Lexi Thompson. All since he got to the White House.
