Future is a busy man. The Pluto rapper is known for his strong work ethic, which now includes writing for other musicians on top of his own prolific output. The rapper called into Hot 107.9 to speak about his upcoming album, the Rihanna and Ciara feud, as well as working on Miley Cyrus' album.
Future revealed that we can expect his sophomore album, Future Hendrix to drop "hopefully between september and november." He added that the album is "like 75% done," and insisted that he would be taking an unconventional approach to the album "I want the music to sound entirely different from anything you hear on the radio," he said, declaring, "the music i have is incredible so far so just stay tuned."
On his other projects he has lined up, the pitch corrected crooner felt very good about his work with Miley Cyrus. "I'm excited about this Miley Cyrus project," revealing that the album is not your typical Disney star pop record. "Mike Will he did her entire album" he announced, addinng, "he called me up for a couple songs."
Tyler, The Creator, Juicy J, and Wiz Khalifa, have also been confirmed to be on the album, but Future is especially excited about his collaborations with the singer. "The songs that me and her have, they outta here, they in another world" the rapper said confidently. "They're urban but at the same time they've got that crossover feel."
Ciara and Future are making things pretty official with their new relationship, but the "Bugatti" hookman also has a strong working relationship with Rihanna, so the rapper voiced that he will let the two work things out themselves. "It'll all work out, you know how it is" he said, not ready to part with any Rihanna money just yet. "Gotta keep them checks coming."
