Rising Brooklyn rapper G4SHI GASHI has been our radar for the past couple years now, but only recently has he been getting his due credit following the success of songs like “Disrespectful,” "Turn Me Down," & "No No No" to name a few. Back in June, he inked a deal with Roc Nation, and has been dropping off various songs ever since in support of his upcoming Stairs 2 EP, which should be arriving in the coming months, but it appears that’s not all the Brooklyn rapper has in stored for us. It turns out that Gashi also has a collab album with ATL producer London On The Track on the way as well.
On Tuesday, Gashi took to his Instagram to make the announcement, along with sharing a preview of an upcoming song from the two. “Stairs2 then GASHi x London On Da Track!,” he captioned his IG post that read “Gashi and London On The Track have collab album otw.”
Days earlier on Twitter, Gashi informed us that he made 20 songs with London On Da Track, while mentioning that his best record to date was also created with the ATL hitmaker. "Just did the biggest record of my career prod by @LondonOnDaTrack," he tweeted out.
There's no time table as for when the possible collab album will be dropping, but with Stairs 2 set to drop first, it looks like we'll have some waiting to do before it arrives.
Check out the album announcement (below) and peep the preview of their song in the second slide. What other producer/rapper combo would you like to see connect for a joint project?
