Juicy J has been prepping his Taylor Gang debut, Stay Trippy, for some time now. We've heard a few songs off his upcoming album, most recently, we got The Weeknd-featured "One Of Those Nights" which was very well-received. If the singles are any indication of Stay Trippy, it should be a strong album, filled with cash references and Juicy J's classic ad-libs. A tour has also been announced in support of the LP, however the album has yet to get an actual release date.
Juicy recently hit up The Breakfast Club on Power 105 in New York and spoke on Stay Trippy. Although he did not reveal a specific date, he said we can expect the LP this summer-- June or July. "It'll probably come out some time in June. Probably June or July. We don't have a set date but we close to around that time," Juicy confirmed.
During his conversation with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, Juicy J spoke on MTV's "Hottest MCs In The Game" list, as well as the whole Sway and Kanye West incident. Juicy J remained relatively neutral in both regards, saying in reference to Sway and 'Ye that he doesn't like to comment on other people's comments.
"I checked it out," Juicy J said of MTV's list. "I think it's cool, man. I think Wiz should be on there, but it's cool." He didn't seem upset with the fact he wasn't on the list, as he said, "Put me on the cash list."
He said of Kanye's rant against Sway and the MTV list, "I heard about it I was like...it's all good. Whatever he says is him. I don't comment on people's comments. Mind my own business, man. That's how I get that cash."
